This self catering holiday cottage is ideally located in a tranquil country setting where you can get a taste of real Irish countryside. It is near the end of a cul de sac on a country lane just 3 miles from all the amenities that Athenry has to offer and just 17 miles from Galway city. There is little or no traffic along this lane so it makes for a worry free environment for walkers and for parents as your children will be safe and secure to explore the adjacent country side.

This Athenry holiday home is currently under complete renovations internally to bring it to modern day standards, works will be completed by the end of May. The property is approx 1000 sq ft. The renovated house will have oil central heating thermostatically controlled, red deal doors, timber flooring,fully tiled kitchen and bathroom, electric shower, newly plastered walls painted with neutral colours and new furniture and fittings.The dinning area has a stove with a brick surround.

Kitchen appliances consist of fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer,gas cooker and microwave.

There will be LCD tv with 8 tv channels, dvd, cd player and a portable tv to use in the many tv points available.

This Athenry holiday cottage is on a spacious plot of about 1/3 acre and has a driveway to the rear, there are gardens to the front,side and rear. The Garden to the rear is west facing and has sunshine from midday to sunset. There is an outdoor barbecue area with a Picnic bench and a barbecue adjacent to a childrens play area which has swings, tree house and a sand pit with toys for smaller children. There is also an outhouse for storage of any sporting equipment.

Athenry can be used as a gateway to the west of Ireland. The town itself is a heritage town with many historical sites. Galway city, the Galway races, the Galway arts festival and the Oyster festival are easily accessible as is Connemara and the burren in Co. Clare.

Pets are allowed subject to prior approval by owner.Oil and electricty will be meter read. Gas is supplied for cooker.
